Just for the record you know the Svelte Tutorial is not an examples page right? None of them are supposed to just work, you are supposed to complete them to make them work, and there is a button to do it for you if you just want to see a working example. Sorry, there is a lot of places this opinion falls down badly, that is just one of them.

It isn’t as mature as React or Vue, Angular or anything else yet, but it is so much younger, and developed by one person primarily that you can’t really expect it to be.
